Backyard Bubbles :-)
We're down to the last bit of summer for this year, so I bring the camera outside to get some candids of the kiddos. Kyler met the magical world of bubbles three months ago and thoroughly enjoys them (even on the scorcher days where the sweat begins to fall the moment I step outdoors, the bubbles beckon for Kyler....and Kyler beckons for Mommy). Today is different, however. Nice weather (mind you, this is "Texas summer-nice," which means, about 89 degrees) and enough bubble juice to get us going :-) In these pictures, Kyler is showing Kylie how to blow the bubbles, and her best attempt at the "blowing" part. Not quite right, but cute, nonetheless :)


Nikki & Casey - Engaged!
With the wedding just four weeks away, we knocked this shoot out in no time! These two are such a great couple and very much in love!



Courtney & Lawson's Wedding!
This is a wonderful wedding! Though it is outdoors in July, I hardly notice the heat because I am so enraptured in beauty that is Courtney and Lawson's Wedding! From the emotional encounter of her father seeing her for the first time in her gown, to the groom getting choked up as he sees his bride walk down the aisle, to the perfect speeches given by the Maid of Honor and Best Man--there isn't a dry eye in the room! Thank you so much for sharing your day with us!





Courtney's Bridal Shoot
Courtney looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown! We took advantage of the wonderful landscapes of Tenroc Ranch in Salado for her bridal shoot with stunning results!

Abigail
What a darling little girl--Those big brown eyes just make me melt! We had such a fun time hanging out with our good friends and meeting their adorable baby girl!


Happy First Birthday, Kylie!
Today is my baby girl's first birthday! She is my most favorite Mother's Day gift! What a memorable day that was one year ago. Compared to the unbelievably slow four days of labor with her older brother, her eight hour labor and delivery was a delight! She is the most pleasant baby I have ever known. And now, One Year Old! After outdoor fun with her brother, we strip her down and have her attempt the cupcake (always an adventure for babies!). She is truly mommy's girl, as she dives in head-first to the chocolate (we won't have any problem with mother-daughter bonding)! Kyler quickly follows suit, sporting the chocolate icing goatee (he's repeated "eat bird-day cake?" at least five times a day since last week). What a great day :-)

Adam & Ashley's Wedding!
This wedding was so much fun! It felt like we were members of the family by the time we left! What a wonderful group of people! It was a joy to see Adam and Ashley getting married. It was evident Ashley was truly marrying her best friend. Thank you so much for letting us photograph your delightful wedding!
  
Lilly & Macy
These two super cute kiddos are loads of fun to photograph! Macy has an abundance of energy and runs anywhere and everywhere! Why walk, when you can run? Lilly is, hands down, the happiest 10 month old ever! She is just too cute and has a perpetual smile on her face. The two of them are an absolute adorable pair!
 
Mater and Kansas
The odd couple: Kansas the Chihuahua and Mater the Boxer/Greyhound mix. One is a lap dog and the other thinks he is! Fun times with puppydogs!

Welcome to the World, Lizzie! A special thanks to your wonderful parents, Johnnie and Clark for allowing me the privilege of taking your pictures! Less than two weeks old, you are truly precious!


Ashley's Bridal Pictures!

Snow Day!
What a treat--Snow (and lots of it) in Central Texas!! We all had a great time enjoying this rarity. We built a snowman and had a snowball fight. The dogs, on the other hand, were not too crazy about the white stuff. Dot just stood on the back porch and barked at it. Bo tread with great apprehension, high-stepping only along the perimeter. After we built the snowman, Dot refused to go outside--that snow stranger was not budging! Fun times...at least for the people :-)
